Sandy beach in East Cork, near the villages of Whitegate, Gyleen, and Aghada. Approximately 9 miles south of Midleton (approx. 20 min drive) and 50 minutes drive from Cork City. Located at the start of Power Head peninsula, looking out onto Powerhead Bay and the entrance to Cork Harbour. Distinct from the larger Inch Beach in County Kerry.

Accessible by road. Two small car parks are available (one on each side, western one is larger). Roadside parking occurs when car parks are full. Not accessible by public transport. No specific disability access ramp mentioned.
