Had a day of relaxation and fun with my colleagues as part of our team building day at the nearby newly opened Ravenport Resort. It's a stunning beach, you can walk for miles, the swimming is safe and the water warm. Filming of Private Ryan took place here.
Amazing beach, miles of sand, very clean and hardly anyone on it. Free parking by the cafe and toilets. Can walk for several miles in each direction on lovely clean wide beaches. We went twice a day to walk the dog who lived it.
Was in Wexford for the weekend with family and we decided to go to this beach. It was really nice. Plenty of room to walk around. It's great to sunbathe in or have a picnic. There is a shop/ arcade beside the beach where you can get ice cream, tea coffee etc..... The
Amazing Lovely large and safe beach. Stunning views. Our horses always welcome. ( even in summer when we are tight certain hours to bring the horses) And we are very grateful for it.
